Let's Go Exploring

Deep River’s Jorts in July & Axe Throwing Day

I made it to my first Jorts in July event down at Deep River Brewing Company. Over the last year I feel like I’ve really gotten to know a lot of people here. I am able to put many more names and faces together. Although sometimes I mix them up, or I just flat out don’t remember you right at first but eventually I will remember your name! I must say when your at Deep River, they do a really great job of making everyone feel like they’re apart of the family. It doesn’t matter what you look like, what car you drive, or who you voted for.

Just who is they? The owners who are usually right there enjoying themselves, drinking their brew sitting right next to you. As a matter of fact if you didn’t know them you might never guess just who they are. Their employees, who from what I can tell are all one big family. Then there is us, you and me, all the folks that stopped in to to see what the heck is going on. There is an energy at their brewery that’s comforting and inviting; or it could be that most folks have been richly partaking some of Johnston County’s finest craft beer! Take a look at the photos, stop in and you be the judge. Thank you, please like, comment and share!

My first Appaloosa Festival was INTENSE! I was fortunate to be able to assist with social media at this most recent Appaloosa Festival. The location is the picturesque Front Royal, Virginia, high atop the Appalachian Mountains.
